Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou is an internationally published illustrator and graphic designer from Greece with over 10 years of professional experience in the creative industry. She holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and has since pursued a career focused on illustration and fine art.

Specializing in dense and highly detailed monochromatic pen-and-ink illustration, her work is characterized by intricate linework and a harmonious fusion of natural elements with imaginative concepts. Inspired by the natural world, her compositions often weave flora and fauna into fantastical scenes.

Melpomeni is also known for her distinctive works on real wood slices, paying homage to nature, as well as her typographic illustrations. Working as an independent illustrator, she collaborates with clients, publishers, and design agencies worldwide.

With five traditionally published colouring books. Circle of Life, Nature Mandalas, Enchanted Earth, Dream Voyage and Flower Fantasy.

Her work has been commissioned by Lionsgate Entertainment Corporation, Michael O’Mara Books, Staedtler, Pilot Pen, The AARP magazine, Bond Design Agency, Knobby, LVCK - Scarsdale Library, European Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections (European Commission) and more.

When not working for clients, she delves deeper into her own personal craft.

Her work has been featured by various magazines - newspapers online and in print, most notably in The Guardian (Observer).
